Pep Guardiola, renowned as one of the best managers in football history, is set to oversee his 1000th game in charge as his current team, Manchester City, prepares to face Liverpool in a Premier League clash at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday.
Guardiola began his coaching career with Barcelona B in 2007 and has since achieved significant success, including winning 12 domestic league titles with clubs such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, as well as securing three Champions League titles and numerous other cups throughout his tenure.
Out of his first 999 games managed, Guardiola has recorded 715 victories, and he has been inducted into the League Managers Association Hall of Fame 1,000 Club, joining 38 other managers who have worked in England, including notable figures like Alex Ferguson and Arsene Wenger.
