Cloanne Mondoñedo is PVL Player of the Week as ZUS Coffee stays undefeated

The ZUS Coffee Thunderbelles, led by setter Cloanne Mondoñedo, have achieved an undefeated 6-0 record in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference, securing their place in the quarterfinals and marking the franchise's best start and third-ever playoff appearance.

Mondoñedo delivered standout performances, including 27 excellent sets and four points in a reverse sweep victory over Akari and 26 excellent sets plus three points in a win against Choco Mucho, earning her the unanimous PVL Press Corps Player of the Week award for November 4-8, where she edged out other strong contenders and became the second local player to win this honor in the conference.

She emphasized that her motivation stems from her teammates' performances and their shared desire to win, inspiring her to elevate her own game to support the team, rather than leading from the front.

Looking ahead, Mondoñedo stressed the importance of consistency as the Thunderbelles aim for a maiden PVL championship, with upcoming matches against Cignal and Nxled to pursue an 8-0 elimination round sweep, all streamed live on Pilipinas Live.
