As NBA trade season begins, four Sixers officially become eligible to be traded

15/12 22:00

The NBA trade season has officially begun as of December 15, 2025, with most players across the league now eligible to be traded.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, four players—Trendon Watford, Justin Edwards, Kyle Lowry, and Eric Gordon—who were previously ineligible are now permitted to be traded. However, this does not guarantee imminent trades, as deals on December 15 are uncommon though not unprecedented.

Currently, the only Sixers player ineligible for trade is Quentin Grimes, who will become eligible next month despite having a no-trade clause for the season.
